SUMMER CAMPS

  • Summer Camps in June, July and August

  • All camps are from 10am to 1pm

  • Camps offered for ages 3-12.

  • Separate camps for different age groups

  • Offering camps in 3 locations.

Our teaching teams use an inquiry-based teaching style to spark children’s curiosity and engage in active learning as they move through the natural world. We encourage individual empowerment and promote group bonding.

 

Students will join their teaching team for 3 hours and explore our local beach, forest, or garden. We often incorporate stories, field guides, learning tools and an occasional craft during the week. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Payment is due at the time you book camp. If cancelled more than 2 weeks before camp start date you will be issued a refund, minus a $40 deposit/processing fee. If you must cancel within 2 weeks of the camp start date, there will be no refunds, though you may switch to a different week of camp if space is available.

Beach and Forest Camps 2026

  • 3 Day Summer Camps in July and August

  • All camps are Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 1pm

  • Camps offered for ages 3-12.

  • Separate camps for different age groups

  • Offered in 2 locations.

Students will join their teaching team for 3 hours and explore our local beach or forest. We often incorporate stories, field guides, learning tools and an occasional craft during the week. ​

Edgewater Beach

We will meet near the parking lot of Edgewater Beach Park. Edgewater Beach Park is located near the new Ferry Terminal in Mukilteo.

Lower Japanese Gulch

We will meet at the Japanese Gulch Trailhead that is by the dog park. This is located off 5th Street, just outside of Mukilteo.

Garden Camp 2026

  • Summer Camps in July and August

  • Age 3-6 Camp - Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 1pm

  • Age 7-12 Camp - Tuesday from 10am to 1pm

  • Location: Mukilteo Community Garden

Spend the summer growing, exploring, and getting wonderfully messy at Garden Summer Camp!

Campers will spend their days digging in the soil, tending plants, learning about pollinators, harvesting food, and discovering what it means to grow something from seed to table. Our days will be filled with sensory rich play, cooking up mud kitchen cuisine, nature crafts, garden exploration, and daily hikes through the trails of Japanese Gulch Forest.

 

Through play and observation, children will build relationships with the land while learning about ecosystems, insects, native plants, and the rhythms of the seasons. Garden Summer Camp offers a gentle, joyful outdoor experience where children can get messy, move their bodies, ask questions, and spend long summer days immersed in nature.
