OUR OUTDOOR SCHOOL
At Nature Together we believe that young children learn best through direct experience with the natural world. Our goal is to tap into their sense of wonder about nature while teaching basic environmental, natural science and preschool principles. We promote individual empowerment and group bonding. We teach respect for all living beings and how to minimize our impact on the earth.
Our programs are designed to integrate children with nature and engage them in quality outdoor activities which stimulate their innate curiosity about the natural world. Our teaching style encourages children to learn through direct experience with nature in an entirely outdoor classroom located in Mukilteo, WA.
OUTDOOR PRESCHOOL
This program is for 3-5 year olds that are potty trained. Children will join two of our teachers in the Japanese Gulch exploring, experimenting, playing, observing and more. We will spend the first 2 hours of class learning in the forest and will end our time at the Mukilteo community garden shelter with a story and discussion/journaling of what we discovered that day.
Our program uses an inquiry-based teaching style to spark children’s curiosity and engage in active learning. The program’s curriculum emerges from the children’s interest as they move through the natural world and the seasons. In this program the children will develop a strong sense of place and belonging from their intimate connection with nature. We also encourage individual empowerment and promote group bonding.

Morning Preschool Classes
The preschool program runs the full school year, September 2026 through June 2027. Preschool is offered Monday through Friday, from 9:30am to 12pm.

Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit of $165 is due to reserve your spot in each day of class.
Tuition:
We offer 2 payment options for tuition, with the first payment for both due August 10th, 2026.
Monthly Payments - 9 payments of $162.50 each.
2 Payments of $694 each
(includes a $75 discount on annual tuition for choosing fewer payments).
