Families in the Forest: Hibernation & Migration

20 US dollars
Japanese Gulch - Community Garden

Description

Designed for children ages 2–4 and their caregivers, this engaging program invites you to explore the Mukilteo Community Garden and Japanese Gulch through science-based activities and hands-on outdoor play. Each class begins with themed learning stations that spark creativity and encourage early development. Little explorers can practice fine motor skills, dive into sensory play, and build foundational math and literacy skills — all while having fun. After station time, we’ll gather for circle time and head out on a short hike filled with games, storytelling, and deeper exploration of the week’s theme. It’s a wonderful way to connect with nature, nurture your child’s curiosity, and enjoy meaningful time together outdoors. Each Caregiver/Child class will be 2 hours. Cost is $20. *Please note that the Wednesday and Thursday session are the same theme and activities. There are no refunds for missed Caregiver-Child classes.
