Hi, i'm Cristen and I'm so excited to be a part of the nature together team!

I'm an Arizona native that has spent many years exploring, hiking,camping, horseback riding and kayaking the southwest! In 2021 my husband and I decided to move our little family back to Washington state, where my husband is originally from, and raise our children here. I've fallen in love with the northwest landscape and have become a bit of a novice birder!

I spent the majority of my young adult life nannying for children ages newborn through second grade where I was able to foster my love of children while guiding them to learn, love and grow. In 2018 I was granted the opportunity to train with a talented floral designer and spent two years creating floral art for weddings/events. In 2020 we welcomed our daughter, Naomi, and shortly after in 2021 we had our son, Devin, who completed our family. For the past four years I have been privileged to stay home full time and raise our children and Im so excited to share my creativity, and love of nature, with the students at nature together!
