Japanese Gulch/Mukilteo Community Garden, 7609 44th Ave W, Mukilteo, WA 98275, USA
About the Event
The winter solstice marks the beginning of the winter season in the Northern Hemisphere, and the longest night of the year. The solstice is significant to many cultures, religions, and traditions, for many different reasons.
For the Nature Together community, it has become a special evening for our students, friends and families to gather as we welcome the peaceful quiet that the darker, colder months of the year can bring.
Winter solstice falls on December 21st, but we are celebrating early to avoid holiday trips, and to accommodate more people. It's also a fun way to kick off the holiday season!
