Hello, my name is Amber Neal. Both of my children have participated in Nature Together and I have seen firsthand how impactful the program is on their love of nature and their well-being.

My favorite childhood memories revolve around exploring outside. I grew up hiking in the woods of Vermont, then moved to surfing at the beach in southern California. My husband and I relocated to Washington to raise our family and have fallen in love with exploring the beautiful beaches and mountains of the pacific northwest. I find nature to be a source of rejuvenation and a place of peace.

I graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. My coursework included development in infancy and childhood as well as cognitive development. I am a trained Peer Health Educator and have supported students with social, health and wellness challenges and guidance. I regularly volunteer at my children’s elementary school and am actively involved in my son’s speech therapy program. I love working with children because they are curious and excited about the world!
